Our charter

Milan Clubs Australia operates under a formal charter that was established on 11 December 2025 between Milan Club Adelaide, Milan Club Melbourne, and Milan Club Sydney. The charter sets out how we operate as a united network of official AC Milan supporter clubs across Australia.

Our Purpose

Milan Clubs Australia exists to provide a united voice for AC Milan supporters across Australia, ensuring a strategic and consistent front is maintained between all member clubs while delivering meaningful benefits to every member of the network.

Our Relationship With AC Milan and the AIMC

Milan Clubs Australia maintains an official relationship with the AIMC (Associazione Italiana Milan Clubs). The President of Milan Clubs Australia is the authorised representative when communicating with AC Milan, the AIMC, and any associated bodies. This relationship is what enables member clubs to access benefits such as AIMC membership and match ticket requests.

How We are Structured

Milan Clubs Australia is governed by three elected positions — President, Vice President, and Secretary — each held for a term of one year, with no limit on the number of terms a person may serve. Decisions are made at scheduled meetings with all motions and votes formally recorded.

Growing the Network

New clubs are welcome to apply to join Milan Clubs Australia provided they meet the criteria outlined in the charter. Major decisions — including changes to the charter itself — require a majority vote across all member clubs, with at least 21 days notice given before any vote takes place.

Our Member Clubs

Each member club operates independently, maintaining its own board, finances, and operations. Milan Clubs Australia does not replace individual clubs — it connects them, amplifies them, and gives them a collective platform.

Conduct and Accountability

All member clubs and their members are bound by the Milan Clubs Australia Code of Conduct. In serious cases where a club acts contrary to the values or goals of the network, expulsion may be considered — though only after all parties have had a full opportunity to be heard

Finance

Each member club is responsible for its own finances in accordance with applicable state regulations. Where costs are shared across Milan Clubs Australia, they are distributed proportionately based on the value each club derives from the relevant activity.
